Superworms Bedding Change

I’ve started a superworm colony. This is proving far easier than their smaller cousins called mealworms. It’s easier from a fisherman’s perspective. Superworms will not pupate until you isolate them. As a fisherman the main colony will remain in larvae form. That’s a big time saver.

Mealworms would often morph and change, leaving no bait to fish with. In the summers this isn’t a problems as I breed black soldier fly larvae. But since black soldier fly larvae don’t live amid winter, I’m usually stuck high and dry for bait. Super worms are proving to be the perfect solution for that.
